What will cause the driver side taillight to go out when the brakes are pushed or the signal is on

Make sure you have the correct bulb in there. It should be a number 3057 bulb. HTH. - Jim


Is the bulb any good?


A lot of people forget that sockets can go bad also, look for some burnt marks where the wiring enters the socket, you may also want to check the sockets with a test light.

I've got the right bulbs. I took it to my mechanic. He had the right testers. It turned out to be a bad ground. Still no backup lights
