I have an 01 s10 manual that i cant get out of neutral, when i try an push the shifter into gear it makes a nasty sound. is this a transmission issue or a master cylinder problem, my clutch sinks all the way too the floor there is no leverage in the pedal? any help would be appreciated.
Manual s10 2001 won't come out of neutral. Clutch pedal sinks all the way to the
floor with no leverage. Curious to know if anyone could tell me a solution?
I suspect there is a problem with either the clutch slave or master cylinder. Have you checked to see if there is fluid in the master cylinder?
Check your clutch fluid level to make sure it has fluid,if not that may be the issue,or your clutch master cylinder and or clutch is bad.
Ok I hope it's just the master cylinder. I appreciate the help, I haven't had time yet to check the fluid but I will. Thank you guys-
