Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The running day lights on my chevy S-10 are not working when the parking brake is released. All the fuses and bulbs are working with the exception that they are on all the time now without turning on the headlamp switch. Is the parking brake switch at fault here and where is it located?

More than likely a faulty ground. Start with the battery negative, make sure it is grounded good. A faulty ground could be anywhere, often tough to locate
