What you need to check is if there is a fuel leak. I would do a fuel pressure bleed down test by hooking up a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve, cycle the key to build up pressure which should be 56 to 63 lbs. then turn the key off then watch the pressure gauge from its highest reading. The fuel pressure should not drop more that 5 lbs in 3 minutes. If it does the there is either leaky fuel injectors, leaky spider lines, or leaky fuel regulator. Unfortunately if any of these are leaking it is recommended to replace all as a unit as it has ben redesigned to be better, and spendy of course.

Thanks for the quick answer I did a fuel pressure test after installing the new fuel pump did great pressure was right on. But I didn't let it set just ran the engine and watched the gauge. Thanks for the help I'll try that. RW
