My heater fan wont work on high. I changed the resistor, still wont work on high. Its a 2000 chevy s10

Has to have an open in the heater switch at high position. The resistor reduces the speeds by impeding current flow. Try inspecting your switch and using a continuity tester to verify speeds have continuity, but high does not.
