Fuel pump won't run 2000 Chevrolet s10

Asked by A67What Sep 29, 2013 at 01:07 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was having issue's with the pump( difficulty
start sometimes, lack of power) so decided to
change the fuel pump. Changed it out with a
brand new one. The fuel pump won't run, I
checked the relay and it gets power. All the
fuses are fine. I tried bypassing the relay and
no luck. I plugged in the old fuel pump and now
it won't work. What did I do!?

If you have power at the pump try the ground wire. Did you bump it, dis connect it. Ensure that you have the complet circuit back to the battery via frame.
