When I start my truck it almost starts then grinds like I'm turning key with it already on and then dies .. but then its ok and I can just try it again till it starts... what is going on ??

Your starter maybe going bad. The grinding may occur because the starter gear that engages the fly wheel is not fully dis-engaging. This would also cause the truck to stall. The next time you try it the starter gear fully dis-engages & everything is OK.
