01 Chevy cavalier

Asked by Oct 20, 2016 at 04:17 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 5 speed cavalier that won't go.  I can
switch gears with no issues but it won't move.
Could this be from a burnt out clutch?

Usually that is the problem. If your bell housing has an inspection cover or plug you might try removing it and see if any clutch lining comes out, if it does then you have your answer.
