Chances are you would just need the motor mounts for the 3.8.

Why not just use a 4.3 v6? it was a stock engine in the s10, and it would be an easier swap. you could get all needed parts at a junkyard. the 3.8 may require fabrication.

Well fixxin up a sleeper truck I have a new 3.8 four barrel alu.high rise intake headers an cammed out about ready to set in so 4.3 out the mounts only thing worrying me but thanks for the feedback i m going to try the 3.8 mounts

Are you by-passing the computer? How are you planning to hook it up to run? I have some experience in doing this...

I’m working on the same project, have a 99 2.2l and putting a brand new 3.8 in it and having trouble figuring out how to hook up the stuff from the s10 harness. Everyone is just assholes and talk shit. Just asking for help. I’m not bypassing the computer from the 3.8 I’m gona keep it
