irregularly, the 'ck eng' light come on, and I lose power; accelerator seems to not do anything, and truck surgese along at idle. I stop, wait a minute, it runs fine again. Filter? Fuel pump?

If check engine light is on take to most parts stores like auto zone and others and they will diagnosis it and tell you what the code means. May want to check air filter and throttle body to see if it needs to be cleaned.

I have the same problem with mine. Will take it to mechanic soon but we talked and he don't have a clue... Throttlebody, Computer, crankshaft speed sensor... who knows. You might watch to see if any dash lights come on. Mechanic said trying to get an error code is probably fruitless. I know this, I had the engine replaced and the problem was there before and after the replaced engine.. Go figure..
