How do I remove a cassette from my 98 s10?

I dont think the player is broke or the cassette is jammed, it just wont come out. Ive tried
everything. When I press the eject button it just displays a "set" icon on the radio and
nothing happens with the tape. Advice?

Small thin screwdriver to help it out when you hit the eject button. If that doesn't work, you will need to remove the radio/player out of the dash and take it apart to remove. Sounds to me the eject mechanism is stuck or broken. Time for a new headunit.
