how to replace motor mounts on 97' S-10 w/4.3l

what is the best way to change motor mounts on my 97' S-10 without using an engine
hoist. i am using floor jacks and wood 4x4 to lift motor. all work being done in my
driveway. the garage is full. thanks

If that is the only way then you should only do one at a time, it is not going to be easy, and be careful you don't drop the engine on your person, floor jacks and 4X4's have damaged a lot of people.

thanks, you are exactly right about that. the 4.3L makes it a tight work area.
