Question type: Car Customization

I want to put a carbed 350 into a 96 computerized
4x4 s10. What do I do about the computer and
other issues that I may have?

Your going to want to swap the trans to one not computer controlled. (700r4, 350th, ect...) keep your computer to work the gauges. Mark the sensor pigtails and don't just cut them. I wouldn't cut the harness down till everything is working how you want it then clean it up a bit. If you wanted to jeep your trans you would need to rig a tps to your carburetor for it to work.

Thank you very much for the information. I have a standard transmission in it. Is it computerized in any way? Or can it be used behind a V8?
