My 1994 Chevy S-10 is acting strange

Asked by wolfsoldier79 May 21, 2016 at 03:55 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On occasion, my truck will act as if it is running out of gas when it has more than enough fuel in the tank. I have noticed that this usually happens on warmer days. If I let it sit for a little while, the problem will usually disappear. It usually happens while driving on the highway, as well, and has left me stranded once. Could you point me in the right direction as far as where to start looking or what I might need to replace to fix this?

Sounds like the fuel pump is about to go get a fuel pump pressure test done.
