91 s10 with an 88 s15 2.8l engine replaced clutch but still slipping a little bit

It sounds like you just need another adjustment, I would take it to a good transmission shop and have them adjust if for you...

And if that is all you had replaced, after checking the adjustment as joemom suggests, may be the pressure plate.
