What is the difference between blown head problems and exhaust problems
Blown head gaskets will emit white smoke out of the exhaust and there will also be a consumption of coolant, possible coolant in the oil or oil in the cooling system, if it is blown between cylinders there will be a very loud pinging noise when the engine is running if it will even start. Exhaust problems are usually plugged converters, collapsed or plugged mufflers, rusted out pipes, bad O2 sensors, broken hangers, etc.
Will a diagnostic test tell me if i have a blown heads
A lil white smoke from exhaust, no milky oil, runs a lil rough. Replaced spark plugs, wires, coil pack Oxygen sensors Rides better but still a lil rough.
They can perform a block check test, that will confirm a blown head gasket.
