how do I hook up the auxiliary to run my ipod
I want to use the aux. output on my 6 disk cd changer fm/am radio to install an input for an Ipod. How?
As far as I can tell Edlow you are going to need an after market piece to pull that off. If you are going that route I'd suggest that you think about buying an FM transmitter for your ipod. That will allow you to tune into your ipod with the radio in your F350. They are a relatively inexpensive and easy to use option for you. Here's an article reviewing some of the popular models. It's a bit dated but it will give you a feel for the market and features ... http://www.roadfly.com/magazine/14/ipod_fm_transmitter.1.html ... Here's a moire recent review of a product ... http://playlistmag.com/reviews/2005/01/airplay/index.php ... and an even more recent review of several options ... http://playlistmag.com/features/2006/09/fmtransmitters/index.php ... Good luck!
you need an auxiliary audio input adapter made for Ford radios, this works with all radios f series 2004 and up go to oemautosound that is the only place the carry them and search for the FRD04-AUX
