Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I used my trail blazer to tow a trailer with 1500 dodge ram on it. Immediately
felt that the blazer was not taking off like it used to. The engine accelerates but
it takes off super slow. What kind of a problem do I have in my hands.

Sounds like the tranny is fried, look at the fluid, if it is any other color than red you have a problem, if the fluid is still the correct color then it is possible that the solenoids have been over stressed and will have to be changed out. A good tranny shop can actually plug into the tranny and read how the solenoids are functioning and if anything else is going on, then they can tell you what it is going to take to fix it.
