Asked by Jessica Dec 25, 2015 at 05:20 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my 02 chevy trailblazer wont start on first turn
of the key sometimes multiple times. Gauges read
funny on the dash when it does fire. once it starts
running though the voltage jumps back to normal,
blower motor doesn't kick on right away. Battery is
good and so is alternator. Help!!!! I am lost for
words.

OK! Congrats on the baby! A bad switch or a bad ground somewhere or dirty or bad battery connections are the most common causes of this problem. Hope you figure it out. Good luck!

This is happening with my 2006 Trailblazer. All the symptoms listed above. My mechanic thinks it may be my neutral safety switch. If it is I will post that information to help others. I notice that people will ask questions about their vehicles but rarely re post after the issue has been identified and repaired.
