I have an 2006 Ford f250 it starts but when u pump the gas peddle it dies

If it's a gas engine, check your air intake tubing for a disconnection or leaks. Also, check your fuel pressure with a gauge. Does it pop back when you hit the gas? If it is popping back through the intake, it's not getting enough gas.
