my truck was warming up and i was changing a head light when i lost all power to truck . the truck died and it sits completly dead . any ideas
check battery connections if it went COMPLETELY dead then it could be a ground.
checked them there good. I have no lights and turn the key and nothing happens. it was running and it shut down like you turned the key
Inspect your battery cables. check the battery voltage, wire brush and clean each connection. inspect fusible links, check circuit protections and fuses. a leaky battery can eat up wiring harness nearby and up to starter relay and additional wires. other systems get main power from power distribution box and its cables connections and fuses can be involved.
