I have a 2006 5.4 f150 that has been sitting about
4 years I have it running but the feel of it is not
rite like it's been sitting for years any suggestions
on what I can do to make it like it hasn't sat for
The one thing you will notice is once the old gas out and run threw, after a tank or two with fuel injection cleaner, it will start running smoother. Just need to be driven close to home at first in case she dies on you. Go out to the highway for short runs also.
Exactly, when a vehicle sits for an extended period it needs to "yawn and stretch" back to life. Change the oil and give it a good lube job too. For safety sake check the brakes very carefully. Make sure the lines haven't rusted and nothing is leaking. HTH. -Jim
