balljoint and link kit table

i funded stanged when dealer told me that my 2005 lariat had the 4 balljoint finished and the upper link kit table too,at only 79.000klm cost me 1.000 to get it fixed,wondering why there is no recall on this?

hi donny26, The upper link kit is for added performance and handling. This could have something to do with the wheel/tire configuration on your vehicle. If you have aftermarket wheels and tires that stick out from the vehicle they are putting undo stress on all of the steering and suspension linkage. However, this seems rather out of place for this type of failure to occur after only 2 years of use. I would have a trusted mechanic take a look at the work performed and discuss what might have (or not) taken place. Thanks for your patronage at CarGurus.com.
