2005 F-150 on it own it accelerates to 7000 rpm, with both feet of the break I put in neutral and turn of ignition
My 2005 F150 , at low speeds 20 - 30 mph, will just take off and accelerate to 7000 rpm or more. With both feet on the break, tires are smoking, engine screaming. I shift into neutral and shut off the ignition.
both times, both this has happened. I was in traffic and my have used my breaks.
My mechanic scoped the trunk and found no problem.
Major SAFETY issue of course call FORD motor directly 1-800-392-3673 and explain what has / is happening with the vehicle...Set up a Gopro cam or other recording device in case it happens on the way to the service center. Youtube, likes these kinds of Vehicle Promotional videos, and it helps people decide whose Trucks / Vehicles they're going to buy! Regards
