We just bought a 2005 Ford F-150 4X4 on Friday. I noticed when accelerating to pass a vehicle there was a hesitation, shaking in the steering wheel & the engine light flashes.
It doesn't happen every time you
accelerate quickly. We took it back
and was told they replaced oxygen
sensors, fuel injectors & transfer
case. I'm not a mechanic (but I play 1
on TV lol), I had the transfer cases
replaced in my last 2 vehicles (Yukon
& suburban). Idk why they messed
with the transfer case? I picked it up
last night. Now I hear a clanky noise
(that sounds like the transfer case)
and it's still hesitating and shaky
when accelerating to pass a vehicle.
Remove the radiator cap and replace everything from the cap all the way back, then replace the radiator cap. LOL Sounds like they messed it up. Take it back, tell them exactly what you are feeling and hearing, and when they say it is finished have a tech or the service manager go with you just make sure it is fixed.
Thanks I have an appt to take it back Monday.
