Got to the point Idk what to do

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start my truck all is good once it is warmed
up it starts knocking and acts real sluggish I've put
10000 miles on it Spence I bought it the truck has
114000 miles on it any suggestions

If this has the 5.4l engine, the trick is to pour 1 bottle of isopropyl alcohol into the engine where the oil goes. You can buy at Walgreens or CVS, about 12-14 ounces. Let it run for 20-30 minutes and you'll notice a difference.

Check ur oil pressure, if u have the 5.4 3 valve engine before y start replacing parts, they have what's called phasers which adjusts the time automatically but they have solenoids that work with oil pressure, if pressure is low, they can't do their function and it'll miss, and usually only after it's warmed up. Ussually ur oil sending unit won't detect it because it's not low enough so u have to check it with an oil pressure gage
