My truck is leaking coolant from under the hood at the metal line. Also I believe it's leaking from the heater core and will by pass but I can't figure out what the pipe is exactly. Any advice?

I don't know which line that is but there are only two reasons for it to leak. The line could be rusted through or the hose that is connected to the metal line is loose or needs replacement.

Thankyou for the quick response! Is there any way to post a picture on here?

Yup, under the box where you type your message, click on "Add photo". If your using the phone app, maybe that isn't an option? Most probably it's the heater line that is leaking. Does it run from the front of the engine to the rear around the heater core?, like F_O_R said, you will need to replace. A quick fix would be to run a rubber hose all the way vs replacing the metal line. Just keep it away from the exhaust.

Ah yes, here we go. I am on my android device and I had to click settings then go to view full site. Then I was able to add photo, just FYI! The coolant leak I can see pooling up and leaking right where this line runs into the block? I'm not sure..

It only uploaded half the picture. I'm pointing to it with a screwdrover, not to confuse you. Thankyou for any help!
