Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car in park slightly vibrates/rattles some times and some times there is a vibration when we drive. Doesn't impact braking ,steering or acceleration or deceleration. My muffler and catalytic converter are all one piece, I think would that be the problem?

Might be one of the heat shield on the convertors, the spot welds rust and the shield works loose over time. An easy repair. Look for any other areas of the exhaust contacting the body. Have a mechanic get it on a lift for easy of access. I'm sure you don't need to replace anything at this point.
