I have a 1999 f-150,90,000 miles on it ,everything is good except front brakes eventually won't release causing me to not move, had to open bleeder to collapse piston, any ideas
Jacked up front of truck, checked wheels,ok,pumped brakes two or three times and
wheels won't move, removed wheels and pryed caliper a little and wheels turn free, pump
pedal and there locked up again, any help, ideas, thanks
Sounds like the calipers are locking up. You can try taking the calipers off but don't unhook the brake line. Clean and lube(with brake hardware lube) the pins and slides that the caliper and pads move on. Slap it back together, pump up the brakes and see if that fixes your problem. If not its time for new calipers because they are hanging up.
I'll try that when it warms up a bit, thanks
