The car won't handle properly if the rear shocks are leaking or broken. If they are just worn, you should be OK, but broken, no.

I have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier which I hadn't driven for awhile. When I started it up the other day it started to overheat. It had a new radiator put in last year and it is full of coolant. The fan didn't seem to be kicking on when I let it run.I don't know a lot about fixing cars but I know where the fan is.
