i want to add BG sealer needs to be put in the radiator, not the surge tank. I have a 2002 chevy avalanche how do I do this??
need to add sealer into the radiator not the surge overflow tank. Unless i
suppose to put this sealer into the surge tank ? but it said into the radiator?
Nooo, if your going to sell the vehicle, then go ahead, but if your keeping it, then just replace the radiator, around $120 on rock auto.com....replace the hoses as well.
Pour the sealer into the radiator - not the overflow tank. Do this when the engine is cold and then start and run the engine up to temp for a while insuring the thermostat opens to insure circulation.
If vehicle does not have a radiator cap remove top radiator hose from radiator pour sealer into hose then reinstall hose and like taver91 suggested do when engine is cold.
The sealer goes into the radiator when it is cool. I would recommend Aluma-seal though.
