there is a constant chirp sound coming from under the body of my f150 that is easily heard when first accelerating and when slowing down. What is this noise?
the chirp becomes quicker as i accelerate up to maybe about 25 mph and then it disappears untill im deccelerating or coasting under about 25 mph. I replaced the rear brake shoes when i first heard the sound and i still can't figure out what the sound is. I recently purchased this truck from a private owner.
It could be a number of things and it's really hard to diagnose unless you can hear the problem. Try this site out. http://www.autozone.com/UseCase,S001/UserAction,viewSimpleDiagInfo/Parameters,info/getInTheZone.htm It will help you diagnose what is wrong.
