shuts down while driving. seems electrical in nature
shuts down electrically while driving or even when not driving and sitting listening to radio. in time will restart. acts as if something needs to cool down before allow to restart
Any codes being set? Will tell you if it's a knock sensor or the like shutting engine off. Having to cool down before restart could be starter getting heat soaked.
Common issues that relate to that are . Coils ,pick ups ,thick film ignition modules and crank and camshaft sensors . The first thing I would do is drive it till it quits and determine if it's spark ,or fuel that is dropping off. Guessing would costyou money and time . Other causes could be ignition. And fuel pump realy getting hot due to bad Contacts .good luck .when you start to diagnose let us know I'm sure we can find the solution .
