truck wont start, jump it and runs fine...Shut it off and won't start.. Fuel pump working, can hear it..
Have you had the alternator tested? Or maybe the battery is bad.
Battery is shot. It will run when it's jumped because the alt can maintain the current required by the engine, but the battery is not charging so it won't crank independently. might still have enough juice for the fuel pump though.

If you own a multimeter, you can check it farm boy style, put the meter on DC and about 20V setting. if your altinator is working you should see something over 12 volts. usually a good system will be at 13- 14.5 V. non running you will see what the battery has. hopefully about 12.5 to 13V on a good battery. if you start it and it drops below 12V the altinator isnt working and your discharging the battery. a cheap$10 meter can really be handy
