1995 Ford F-150 will not turn off
Bad ignition module,under sterring column.
Thanks I will try that in the morning.
Or could be a bad alternator diode feeding back when the key is shut off keeping the electrical powered up just enough to keep it running. Try electrically disconnecting the alternator and see if it shuts off when you turn the key off, if it does then you have a bad alternator, if not then it could be the ignition switch.
mmm Starter???? Battery???
So I tried to take off wire to alternator.. That didn't help.. So I just popped the clutch to turn off. When I do that the truck Turns off. But ABS light stays on and there is power to the truck.. Runs the battery down. Any more suggestions it could be?
Disconnect a battery terminal and put a test light in between the post and the terminal, as you have a draw then the the light should turn on, first is unplug the alternator completely, if the light is still on then start removing the fuses one at a time noting where each one came from, until the light goes out, find out what systems are on that circuit and locate and repair or replace the offending part, then start putting the fuses back still watching the light, when all of the fuses are in and the lamp is still off then reconnect the alternator, if the light turns back on replace the alternator if it stays out then your ready to go. Note some vehicles have a parasitic draw this will cause the lamp to glow just slightly, this is normal.
