1995 ford f150 5.8 will turn over but not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mysteriously shut down during idle. Fixed a fuel pressure
problem involving fuel pressure regulator. Tested
distributor coil and wires. Will turn over very healthy but will
not start. I havent inspected the spark plugs but im not
hopeful that is the issue as it runs like a champ. Thought i
would just try to look for further incite online.

check for proper spark and fuel pressure , put some fuel down the throttle see if it fires , check for power/ground before replacing fuel pump .
