1995 f150 xlt extended cab new starter silinoid and altinator started checked and is fine. I go to start the truck it clickes and all light go off. All I got to do is touch the positive wire on my battery and lights will come back on but still won't start even tried jumping the truck no go.
Let me guess. It has the parts store replacement battery cable ends? The ones with the 2 bolts and the clamp pinching the cable on the terminal? If so you need to take them off the battery and seperate the cable and the terminal. Get some battery terminal cleaner and some sort of bristle brush and go to town cleaning them. Almost every ford from this generation does this if you use the "universal" cable ends
