Can I take automatic transmission out of 8ft longbed 5.0
and put it in my extended cab.4.9

The 8' to extended cab would not be the problem (along with a new drive shaft, ctr brg reconfiguration), but you will probably need to check out the mounting/alignment because of the different engines.
