I have a 2003 Chevy venture and I need to replace the torque converter clutch solenoid I need to now where it's located
I bought the solenoid and need to know where it's located, I pulled the pan down and it's not in with the filter,
where could it be located?
How do you know that the solenoid in your transmission is bad? You don't want replace something that's not really broken. http://autorepair.about.com/cs/doityourself/l/aa011703b.htm
Because the check engine light came on I brought it to a repair shop and they told me that's what the problem was as the transmission was shifting weird, They told me it was inside the transmission so I took the pan and filter off and found it wasn't in there. Do you have an answer for me or are you doing research also?
Usually attached to the valve body.
