I have replaced the computer, ICM, distributor, coil, plugs and wires, cap and rotor button, pickup coil and the fuses are all good nd new. please help me, i dont know what else to do. it was my grandfathers truck and it ran great but stopped one day and never cranked again. im in need of help and i dont know where else to go.
You are describing the classic Ford TFI module or distributor pickup failure, but check the voltage supply to the ignition coil first, then was the distributor a new or rebuilt? If it was rebuilt they most likely didn't check the pickup coil in the distributor. You can take the module and have it tested, I know NAPA here has a tester, maybe they have one in your area. If the module tests good then the pickup is in failure.
