Fuel system pressure release

I know how to change the fuel filter on my van. But
how do I relieve the fuel system pressure?

should be a schrader valve with a cap on it on the fuel rail to relieve the pressure.

You will have to remove the inside engine cover to get to it, or if your not in a hurry let it sit overnight by then the pressures will be low enough that it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just keep a small drain pan handy to catch what starts to flow. As with most Fords prepare to get some fuel to your arm pit. HA HA
