Are you looking for speed or raw pulling power? Even if you can do it, remember that the larger engine will make access to everything much harder.. What's wrong with the existing 5.4 Liter engine?

Nothing. I have 148k on my 2001 lighting. If I upgrade to a bigger supercharger can engine and transmission handle it.

You probably could build the existing 5.4 to take more boost which could give you a lot of power. Here is a build that can take 18 pounds of boost. https://www.promarengine.com/whats- new/2014/03/05/ford-5-4-lightning-performance-engines/

You can speed up the supercharger by changing the pulley out but do your home work and proceed at your own risk ---- https://lmr.com/products/Ford-Lightning-Supercharger-Pulley
