I am working on a 94 V8 F 250 with a V8 And am using the wiring harness off a 96 F 150 with a 6 cylinder Te connections were different to the computer can I use the ECM from the 6 cylinder with a V8

I had to switch out wiring the wiring harness in a 94 F250 with the wiring harness out of a
96 F150 which had a 6 cylinder in it. The ECM connections were not the same to the ECM
. Can I use the ECM from the V6 on the V8 motor
