engine swap

Asked by Aug 06, 2015 at 04:36 PM about the 1994 Ford F-250 2 Dr XLT 4WD Extended Cab LB

Question type: General

what motor will inter-change with a 351? I would like a larger motor, gas mileage I'm not concerned with, I need towing power or suggestions for existing motor

keep the 351...if you want power suggestions tell me where you live (altitude) and how much you want to spend...is the 351 sound...first of all...

Kelly is right, it is a lot of work finding a good 460 with all of the equipment and wiring you would need to put it in. You could look at changing the rear and front differential ratios to something lower, or even a gear vendor unit.
