dash lights and tail lights not working on my 2003 tracker, could it be the DDL module

It's more likely a fuse than the DRL. The fuse panel above the driver-side kick panel has fuses for various lights. Also, the main relays under the hood. I would check the fuses inside first. Don

The fuse box inside the car is not where it is shown on the diagram. I have removed the pa el under the steering,wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated Ann

I have the same problem. Has anyone figured this out? I disconnected the rear wiring from the fuse box oh, it's the very lowest last connector to the floor. It's just weird how I keep reading shorts across my marker lights and – cluster until I disconnect turn signal lights. This makes me think everything is upfront. But I can't see any place for wires to get messed up

It sounds like you have a bad flasher if you are reading a short, try replacing it.
