2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac signals

Asked by gunny751 Jan 09, 2014 at 02:35 PM about the 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4WD Crew Cab

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both signal lights (front & rear) on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac are not working but the 4-way hazards are.  Do I have a wire or wires loose somewhere?

Blown fuse, The turn signal switch is bad or flasher/relay for turn signals.

I've seen the Multifunction (Turn Signal) switch come unplugged. Try adjusting the steering wheel to the full up position and see if your lights work then. 3 Screws to pull the steering column cover if you need to.
