My mechanic says they are known to have a lot of transmission issues.  What do you

This would all depend on how the vehicle was treated by it,s previous owner,s,serviceing it.Everyone will not be alike because of this.Some will run a long time because it was took care of,other,s not because of non service and driving abuse.Do research on the vehicle if possble,that is the only way to know how it will run you.
