06 mustang wont shift in automation

My 06 mustang gt v8 will shift to park and neutral but when
in reverse or drive wont move and I'm thinking it's my
shifter cable because the driveshaft looks fine need some
help tho

If the shifter shifts to park & neutral and engages the neutral safety switch to start the engine, it's not the shifter or the linkage. Problems in forward & reverse is a sign of a transmission with worn out solenoids, clutches, gears, etc. Get the car to a transmission specialist and plan to rebuild or replace.
