Need to look at the code sticker May be on door jam. Because the computer is set to that trans used for that specific set up and will not work with others even though they bolt up but can get the computer reprogrammed.

Your local salvage yard should have interchange books/catalogs that will/can tell you what will work in place of the original equipment. Auto dealerships can only tell you about original equipment....unless they have a interchange source available.
