Carbon monoxide emissions

I have a 1994 ford 4.9l in line six efi van the.
Aloud limit at emissions for carbon mo
oxide is 25. My van had 27. What can I do to
get it to pass?

Two points above legal limit sounds like it needs a really good tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, all the filters and the PCV valve, after that is done then recheck the base timing, disconnect the spout connector and check then add 2 degrees to the base timing, shut down and reconnect the spout connector. Now run a can of SeaFoam in the fuel tank, on next fill up use Chevron fuel, then retest. Or if you don't have time to run SeaFoam then have the injectors professionally cleaned and then put in a can of Techron and have it rechecked. If the engine is in good shape then it should pass emissions.
